Sounds of Prayer
It’s a pleasure to be teaching an introduction to New Testament Greek at the College of Transfiguration this semester. We’re studying Greek not just to learn the language, but so we can use it for things that matter to us: being able to read the New Testament and having more ways to pray. Here is our class singing the Lord’s Prayer in Greek; first, the student who is teaching our class this version, Sibongile Xuba, then the rest of the class joins in. The group’s singing is slower, but I find it meditative and lovely and singing can be a helpful way to learn something by heart.
Turn up the volume–it’s quite soft otherwise, and pray along if you like.

Sent from my iPad..So beautiful…thank you for sharing. Four minutes of peace right now..💕
