This Is Not Our Dog
Our not-our-dog’s name is Grace. We love her.
We were paying attention at our training. We read and signed off on our mission volunteer manual. It’s clear—we are not allowed to get a pet. Makes sense.
But this is grace: Grace just comes with the place.
Grace is busy, checking on us, making sure we’re okay, seeing if we need to scratch her belly or pet her. She has other people to watch as well, like her owners, and other creatures to supervise, like the other sweet dogs on the property where we live who don’t have free run of the place and the host of birds, duiker (a small antelope), and reptiles who live here too.
We’re grateful for grace!
Love Grace and I am going to share it with the MD cursillo team I am heading up for November.

This is a sweet story and I think of how Grace sees you and welcomes you . She sees what special people you are and is a happy dog. Love to you, beloved ones.

You are so kind. We are so blessed. With Grace, and even more with God’s grace through you and Jim. Love and blessings, Amy and Joe
