Morning Prayer for Sunday October 18
Welcome to Morning Prayer from the Parish of Pasadena and Cormack in Newfoundland and Labrador! Thanks to parishioners Marilyn Simmons and Ed and Debbie Humber for leading our music, Jennifer Day for reading our first lesson, and Irene and Warwick Hewitt for leading our prayers. The homily is by Joe, and it’s on Matthew 22:15-22, give to God what belongs to God.
You can watch the video version here or listen to the audio only version here.
Thanks for joining us today. Love and blessings, Joe and Amy

Amy and Joe todays service was made greater by the sounds of nature, especially the calling of the crows. You are doing a SUPA job, God bless you.
Godspeed Peter

Thank you, Peter! The crows were cracking me up. When I was quiet, they were quiet. When I started speaking, they chimed in. Just doing their part to praise God! Sending love and blessings, Amy

What a beautiful service . Joe ‘s. sermon really spoke to my heart . The art and nature along with the singing were pure joy. Thank you for such a moving service. Every part of it was giving glory and praise to God. I love the singing of the couple and always love singing along with them. My spirit rejoices. Jim will love this ! He was in the Hospitol for a day with dehydration and weakness .He could not stand or walk and his words were jumbling from the dehydration. He is fine now and I am so thankful. As I was sitting here smiling with a thankful heart I thought of one of Mother Teresa’s words. There is joy in loving God!!!!
