Morning Prayer for Sunday November 8

Welcome to Morning Prayer from the Anglican Parish of Pasadena and Cormack in Newfoundland Labrador. Today we are joined by parishioners Gail Roberts (reading our first lesson, Joshua 24:1-3a, 14-25), Yvonne Stone (reading Canticle 21, God’s Plan of Salvation), and Jennifer and Ron Day (leading our prayers). The sermon is based on the gospel, Matthew 25:1-13 (the parable of the wise and foolish bridesmaids). The gospel reading gives us great reason to hear the Wildwood Singers of St. George’s versions of This Little Light of Mine and When the Roll is Called Up Yonder.
