Morning Prayer for Sunday December 6
Welcome to Morning Prayer from the Parish of Pasadena and Cormack! Today’s worship service is led by Rev. Amy, Rev. Joe, and parishioners Marilyn Simmons and her granddaughters Rachel and Rebecca Penney (leading our Opening Sentences and Canticle), Sabrina Short (reading our first lesson, Isaiah 40-1-11), and Ron and Jennifer Day (leading our prayers), and musicians Ed and Debbie Humber, and Lloyd Hollett (“The Lord’s My Shepherd, He Lives” and “The Kingdom of God is Justice and Joy”) and the Wildwood Singers of St. George’s Church (“Hold Fast to the Right,” Kitty Rice, solo). The sermon this morning, “Not the Way It’s Supposed to Be,” is by Rev. Joe and is based on the Gospel reading, Mark 1:1-8.
You can watch the video version here.
You can listen to the audio only version here.
Thank you for joining us today! God’s blessings and joy, Joe and Amy
The entire morning pray service was inspiring and educational as to how we should be living His way.
Godspeed Peter
