Morning Prayer for Sunday December 13
Welcome to Morning Prayer from the Anglican Parish of Pasadena and Cormack for the Third Sunday of Advent. Thank you to parishioners Megan King (Opening Sentences and Prayers), Mona Edwards (Canticle), Gail Roberts (reading Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11), and Ed and Debbie Humber and Lloyd Hollett for our music (A Journey Just Begun, This Little Light of Mine, and Shine Jesus Shine). The sermon, “The Meaning of Life for a Meaningful Life” is by the Rev. Amy Richter and is based on the gospel lesson, John 1:6-8, 19-28.
You can listen to an audio only version here.
Thank you for joining us today! Blessings and joy, Joe and Amy
Amy your sermon was so powerful and applicable to all that is going on in the world today. It was one of the best sermons I have ever heard you deliver.
Much love to you and Joe.
