1. Joe and Amy….

Thank you for your laughter today! I need the “message” always but today I needed your joyful laughter!

  2. Dear Amy and Joe,
Interesting contrast between St. Paul and James –rather, more complementary. Need both belief and action. Practical makes the abstract real—
I am attaching a link to C-SPAN interview with Anne Lamont who you reference often. This is about her new book: Dusk, Night, Dawn. I have never read her and heard her speak, but I started to listen and she is so real–I will listen to whole interview. This is the type of humanity and honesty we need in the church and what God can do in a human life in all its brokenness –that is what will attract the world – permission to be human and real –to know that is what God wants us to be and then God’s love can transform our broken humanity, not perfect appearances at Sunday morning worship. Love, Jo
